Local Health Departments: Many local health departments offer addiction treatment and recovery programs. They can provide information on available services, support groups, and treatment options in your area.
Community Mental Health Centers: These centers provide a range of services, including counseling, support groups, and addiction treatment programs. They often offer sliding scale fees based on income. 211.org
Public Libraries: Public libraries often host support groups, workshops, and provide access to educational materials on addiction and recovery. Check with your local library for available programs and resources.
Community Centers: Community centers may offer support groups, wellness programs, and activities that promote healthy living and recovery. They can also be a great place to connect with others in your community.
Nonprofit Organizations: Nonprofits like the YMCA, Salvation Army, and local charities often provide addiction recovery programs, support groups, and other resources. Reach out to these organizations to see what services they offer.
